The study aimed to investigate the level of scientific process skills of female and male students in upper elementary level and if any statistical difference appears due to gender, grade level, and scientific process skills. Descriptive approach was applied to accomplish study goals by implementing a scientific process test on a random cluster sample of students chosen from 15 elementary schools from Riyadh city, where female students were 1021, and 739 male students. Results reveal that only 23.86% of the sample acquire the scientific process skills with significant statistical difference for female students. Results also showed that the level of scientific process varies among students with respect to the skill, where classification skill was the highest with 75.5%, and the lowest skill was using numbers with 11.3%. Also, student level of all scientific process except classification skill was below 66.7% that indicates the accepted level. (Published abstract)
