The study aimed at determining the degree of practicing the teaching staff members, in the preparatory programs at Al-Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University, for the skills of systemic thinking in teaching, and detecting the differences in the degree of their practice due to the variables of (specialization, experience and scientific qualification). To achieve the objectives of the study, the two researchers adopted the descriptive survey methodology. The study tool consisted of an observation card. The study was applied to a sample that was chosen by random stratified method. The total sample consisted of (80) faculty members in the preparatory programs, representing (59.26%) of the study population. The study achieved the following results: the evaluation skill came in the first ranking among the skills of systemic thinking in the degree of the teaching sample practice, and the skill of analysis came second, and then the skill of relationships perception was the third, while the skill of synthesis was the fourth. The degree of the study sample practice, in all the skills, was at a high degree. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the degree of the study sample practice of the skills of systemic thinking attributed to the variable of specialization in favor of the disciplines of Arabic language, computer and learning skills. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the degree of the study sample practice of the skills of systemic thinking due to the variable of experience and scientific qualification.
