The current study aims to building a suggested program using the social network and the components of digital citizenship in order to develop technical and intellectual security components. The research depends on the semi experimental approach (pre- post). The sample of research consisted of 17 students in the preparatory year. The tool of the research was a questionnaire made to assess the technical & intellectual security components and included 45 items. The suggested program was prepared and included 12 activities. The main findings showed statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0,01) between the scores means of pre and post applications of the questionnaire in general, and each component individual in favor of the post application. According to the results, the major important recommendation was the inclusion of the technical and intellectual security components in the programs of the preparatory year. (Published abstract)
