جاءت هذه الدراسة للوقوف على دور الإدارة المدرسية في تحقيق أبعاد التنمية المستدامة في الأردن من وجهة نظر المعلمين، ولتحقيق ذلك، تم تطوير استبانة تضمنت (24) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة أبعاد للتنمية المستدامة وهي: البعد الاقتصادي والبعد الاجتماعي والبعد البيئي، وقد تم توزيع هذه الاستبانة على عدد من المعلمين والمعلمات والبالغ عددهم (340) معلما ومعلمة وذلك خلال الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي 2019/2020، وقد كان من أبرز النتائج، أن دور الإدارة المدرسية كان عاليا في تحقيق أبعاد التنمية المستدامة، وكان ترتيب الأبعاد على النحو الاتي: البعد الاجتماعي كان أعلاها يليه البعد الاقتصادي, ثم البعد البيئي. وأوصت الدراسة بتخصيص جائزة لأفضل مدرسة تهتم بالبيئة وتجميلها، وتشجيع العمل الفريقي والتعاوني، وقد اقترحت الدراسة إجراء دراسة أخرى مماثلة على المدارس الخاصة. This study came to find out the role of school principals in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development in Jordan. To achieve this, a questionnaire was developed that included (24) items distributed on three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic dimension, social and the environmental dimension. This questionnaire was distributed to a number of (340) male and female teachers, during the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020, it was one of the most prominent results, that the role of school principals was high in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development, and the arrangement of dimensions was as follows: the social dimension was the highest, followed by the economic, then the environmental dimension. And the study recommended allocating an award for the best school concerned with the environment and beautifying it, and encouraging collaborative teamwork, and the study suggested conducting another similar study on private schools.
