The aim of the research is to know the relationship between social support and depression among retired primary school teachers in the State of Kuwait. The research sample consisted of a group of (203) retired primary school teachers in the State of Kuwait. Individuals who are the sample of the research on the two research tools and through that the following conclusions were reached: 1) There is a high level of social support among the research sample. 2) There is a low level of depression among the subjects. 3) There is a relationship between the high social support and the low degree of depression among the subjects. The researcher can also recommend: 1) The need to reinforce the importance of social support on the part of family and friends to achieve psychological support for retired teachers. 2) Attention to treating depression among retired primary school teachers through social support by the parties participating in the psychological support of the retired teacher. 3) Conducting preventive studies to confront depression among job groups of retired persons in the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait. 4) Conducting studies for psychological counseling programs to support social support among various groups of teachers.
