The reality of distance teaching in the light of the pandemic of the Corona (Covid-19) from the point view of staff and the post graduate students at Shaqra University [Article]
The study aimed to know the reality of distance teaching from the point view of the post graduate students and staff at Shaqra University. In the period of the invasion of the Corona (Covid-19) pandemic, the newcomer. The original community of this study consisted of the post graduate students and staff members of the Curricula and Teaching Methods Department. The survey descriptive approach was applied. The study found that the views of community members coincide in the reality of distance teaching in light of the new Corona pandemic in all fields of study, while their vision was different from the field of evaluation. The degree of approval in the areas of planning and difficulties was (4.85%), and in the field of difficulties (4.87%), the degree of approval in the fields of general principles, educational platforms, evaluation, and the positives with a moderate degree n the field of general principles it is (4.15%), in the field of educational platforms it is (4.06%), in the field of evaluation it is (3.80%), and in the field of positives it is (4.15%).The study proved that distance teaching is a type of education that must be available in exceptional cases for emergency circumstances such as the current Corona circumstance, with a high approval rate of (4.70%).One of the most important recommendations of the study was to conduct scientific studies similar to this study in methodology while expanding the research sample at the level of Saudi universities and public education schools and at the level of regions and governorates of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
