Difficulties that face the students of secondary stage in teaching skill of reading from perspective of teachers. The present research aimed to identify the difficulties that face students of secondary stage in acquiring skill of reading in Abyan governorate- Lowder district that are associated with attributed the following: teacher, student, academic course, teaching aids and educational methods, and investigating the existence of statistically significant difference in the teachers estimation of difficulties of teaching skill of reading in secondary stage, and investigating the existence of statistically significant difference between the mean responses of teachers according to the changing gender. In order to achieve the objective of researcher design questionnaire for the teachers. To conduct this research the researcher took all the teachers of secondary stage in Lowder city that were (23) teachers. The results of study: 1) There are no statistically indicative differences in the teachers estimation of difficulties of teaching skill of reading in secondary stage. there are difficulties face students of secondary stage in acquiring skill of reading due to teacher, student, academic course, teaching aids, educational to educational methods, there are no statistically indicative differences between the female and male teachers of the difficulties of teaching skill of reading in secondary stage according to the variable gender, at the light of research the researcher recommend the following: Holding training courses for the teachers aimed at providing them with sufficient experience to teach of the skill, Holding training courses for students to enable their acquisition of the reading skill and fostering their practice of skill, Supplying Secondary School with English language laboratories, conducting a research about the difficulties of reading skill according to the variables of educational qualification and work experience.
