هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على العلاقة بين النمط الإداري لمدير المدرسة واتجاهات المعلمين نحو التسرب الوظيفي من مدارس التعليم الحكومي بدولة الكويت. وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي لتحقيق أغراض الدراسة، حيث طبقت الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة على عينة قوامها 450 معلما، الذين تم اختيارهم بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية. وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن الآتي: () يمارس مديرو المدارس النمط الديمقراطي بدرجة متوسطة والنمط السلطوي بدرجة متوسطة والنمط التَّرَسُّلِيَّ بدرجة ضعيفة؛ 2) ضعف اتجاهات المعلمون نحو التسرب الوظيفي من مدارس التعليم الحكومي بدولة الكويت؛ 3) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول الأنماط الإدارية تعزى لمتغير الجنس والمؤهل العلمي وسنوات الخدمة والمرحلة التعليمية والتخصص؛ 4) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول اتجاهات المعلمين نحو التسرب الوظيفي تبعا لمتغير الجنس والتخصص؛ 5) توجد علاقة ارتباطية موجبة ومتوسطة وذات دلالة إحصائية بين ممارسة مديري المدارس للإدارة السلطوية والتَّرَسُّلِيَّة واتجاهات المعلمين نحو التسرب الوظيفي؛ 6) توجد علاقة سالبة متوسطة بين ممارسة مديري المدارس للإدارة الديمقراطية واتجاهات المعلمين نحو التسرب الوظيفي. وقد خرجت الدراسة بتوصيات منها: 1) إقامة دروات تدريبية وورش عمل لمديري المدارس للتعرف على الأنماط الإدارية؛ 2) تطوير معايير اختيار مديري المدارس بدولة الكويت. The study aimed to explore the relationship between the management style of school principal and teachers' attitudes towards job dropouts from the governmental schools in the state of Kuwait. The descriptive survey method was used to achieve the purposes of the study, where the questionnaire was applied as a study tool to a sample of 450 teachers selected using random stratified sampling technique. The finding of the study showed the following: 1) school principals highly practiced the democratic management style, while they practiced moderately the authoritarian management style, and they practiced the laissez-faire management style in low degree; 2) teachers attitudes towards job dropouts from the schools were low; 3) there were statistically significant differences between the means of the responses of the study sample regarding management styles due to some variables, such as, sex, teacher qualification, years of service, educational level, specialization; 4) there were statistically significant differences between the means of the responses of the study sample regarding teachers attitudes toward dropout from the schools due to some variables, such as, sex and specialization; 5) there was a moderate positive statistical significant correlation between the authoritarian and laissez-faire management style of school principal and teachers' attitudes towards job dropouts from the governmental schools in the state of Kuwait; 6) there was a moderate negative statistical significant correlation between the democratic management style of school principal and teachers' attitudes towards job dropouts from the governmental schools in the state of. Based on the findings of the study, some recommendations were suggested as follow: 1) creating training courses and workshops for school principals including managerial styles and their advantages and disadvantages; 2) developing school principals selection criteria in the State of Kuwait.
