تسبّب الوباء الحاليّ الناتج عن فايروس كورونا بإغلاق المدارس في جميع أنحاء العالم، فعلى الصعيد العالمي هناك أكثر من 102 مليار طفل خارج الفصول الدراسيّة (المنتدى الاقتصادي العالميّ). كذلك في الكويت نهاية شهر فبراير عام 2020 أجبر ما يقرب من 500 ألف طالب على البقاء في المنزل دون تعليم. في حين كان صانعو القرار في وزارة التربية يحاولون إيجاد بديل فعّال للتعليم التقليديّ، حيث كان الحلّ الوحيد المتاح لهم هو التوجّه نحو التعليم عن بعد امتثالا للوائح الصحة والسلامة التي فرضتها وزارة الصحة، وبحلول شهر أكتوبر 2020 وافقت وزارة التربية على استخدام منصة (مايكروسوفت تيمز)، وذلك لتفعيل التعلّم عن بعد. ولكن واجهت منهجيّة التعلّم هذه الكثير من القصور بسبب محدوديّة التفاعل، حيث كانت المعلّمة تلقي الدرس بطريقة واحدة دائما، ولا توجد فرصة للمتعلّم للتفاعل بكفاءة. في ضوء ما سبق، ظهرت الحاجة إلى تقييم منصة تعليميّة شاملة لاستخدامها لزيادة كفاءة التعلّم الإلكترونيّ. وبالتالي تزويد المتعلّم بتجربة تعليميّة مفيدة وممتعة تعزّز بدورها تعليمه. في هذا البحث وظّفت الدراسة في روضة اللؤلؤ، وتضمّنت عيّنة من المتعلّمين في مستوى رياض الأطفال. كما بنيت الدراسة على نظرية السقالات التعليميّة في تعليم الطفولة المبكّرة، حيث جاءت نتائج البحث متوافقة مع الأدبيّات السابقة، وأثبتت أنّ السقالات يمكن أن تعزّز تعلّم الأطفال عن البيئة الطبيعيّة. The latest pandemic caused by the virus COVID-19 has resulted in schools shut across the world. Globally, over 1.2 billion children are out of the classroom (World Economic Forum). Similarly, in Kuwait and at the end of February 2020 around 500,000 students were forced to stay at home without schooling. Decision makers at the ministry of education were struggling to find an effective replacement for face-to-face learning. The only solution that was available for decision makers is to drift towards online learning to comply with the health and safety regulation provided by ministry of health. By October 2020, the MOE approved online learning to be used in its schools through the use of MS Team platform. This methodology of learning was facings lots of resistance due to the lack of interaction. The teacher was delivering the lesson in a one way where the learner has no way to interact efficiently. In the light of the above, the need emerged for assessing a comprehensive educational platform to be used to increase the efficiency of online leaning and hence provide the learner an enjoyable a beneficial learning experience that can promote the learner’s education. In this research, the study was employed at ALlulu kindergarten and involved a sample of learners from the kindergarten level. The process of “scaffolding” as a teaching strategy in early childhood education was implemented. The research results came out to be in harmony with previous literature and proved that scaffolding can promote children’s learning about the natural environment. (Author’s abstract)
