هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مدى تضمن محتوى كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز لطلبة الصف الرابع الأساسي في الأردن للعام الدراسي (2020/2021)، لمعايير العلوم للجيل القادم (NGSS)، وإلى إيجاد درجة إشراكية الطالب في الكتاب. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتكونت عينة الدراسة الأولى المتعلقة بمعايير العلوم للجيل القادم (NGSS) من كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز بجزأيه الأول والثاني. وتكونت العينة الثانية المتعلقة بالإشراكية من وحدتين من كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز بجزأيه الأول والثاني. وتم تطوير أداتين للدراسة: الأولى متعلقة بمعايير العلوم للجيل القادم (NGSS)، ومكوّنة من بطاقة تحليل، قسّمت إلى ثلاث مجالات؛ والثانية متعلقة بالإشراكية ووفق طريقة رومي، وتمّ إيجاد صدقهما وثباتهما حسب الأصول. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن معيار الممارسات العلمية والهندسية قد جاء بالدرجة المتوسطة وبنسبة (52%)، ومعيار المفاهيم المشتركة قد جاء بالدرجة المنخفضة وبنسبة (37%)، ومعيار الأفكار التخصصية قد جاء بالدرجة المنخفضة جداً وبنسبة (11%). كما أشارت النتائج أن معامل إشراكية كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز للصف الرابع الأساسي للمادة التعليمية، قد بلغ (41%)، ومعامل إشراكية كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز الأساسي للرسوم والصور قد بلغ (56%)، وهذه القيم متوافقة مع المحكات المعيارية التي حددها رومي وهي (4% – 1.5). بينما بلغ معامل إشراكية كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز الأساسي للأنشطة (36%)، وهذه القيمة أقل من القيم المتفق عليها، ولا تتوافق مع المحكات المعيارية التي حددها رومي. وقد أوصت الدراسة بزيادة الأنشطة ومعايير العلوم للجيل القادم (NGSS) في محتوى كتاب العلوم المطور وفق منهاج كولينز، وبإجراء الدراسات المماثلة لهذه الدراسة. The study aimed to identify the extent to which the content of the science book developed according to the Collins curriculum for fourth-grade students in Jordan for the academic year (2020/2021) includes the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS); and to find a degree of student involvement in the book. In order to achieve this goal, the descriptive Analytical approach has been used in the study. The first study sample related to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) consisted of the science book developed according to the Collins curriculum in its first and second parts, and the second sample related to socialism consisted of two units of the science book developed according to the Collins curriculum in its first and second parts, and two tools were developed for the study, the first related to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), consisting of an analysis card, which was divided into three areas, the second related to inclusion and according to the method of Rumi, and their validity and stability were duly found. The results of the study indicated that the standard of scientific and engineering practices came in an intermediate degree at a rate of (52%). The criterion for common concepts came at a low level at a rate of (37%), and the standard for specialized ideas came at a very low degree at a rate of (11%). The Collins curriculum for the fourth grade basic for the educational subject has reached (41%), and the coefficient of science book involvement developed according to the Collins basic curriculum for drawings and pictures has reached (56%), and these values are compatible with the standard criteria set by Romy, which are (4% - 1.5). While the coefficient of science book involvement in the developed science book according to the Collins Basic Curriculum for Activities was (36%), and this value is less than the agreed values, and does not conform to the standard criteria set by Rumi, and the study recommended increasing the activities and science standards for the next generation (NGSS) in the content of the book Science developed according to the Collins method, and by conducting studies similar to this study.
