هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات الاحداث الجانحين نحو برامج الرعاية الاجتماعية، والتعرف على دور برامج الرعاية الاجتماعية التي تقدمها دور تربية وتأهيل الاحداث في الحد من جنوح الأحداث، حيث كوّن مجتمع الدراسة من كل الاحداث الجانحين (الموقوفين والمحكومين) في برامج الرعاية الاجتماعية التابعة لوزارة التنمية الاجتماعية في قصبة إربد والبالغ عددهم (81)، فقامت الباحثة بإعداد استبانة مكونة من مجالين المجال الاول تناول على اتجاهات الأحداث الجانحين نحو الرعاية الاجتماعية وتكون من خمسة عشر فقرة. أما المجال الثاني والذي تناول دور الرعاية الاجتماعية التي تقدمها دور التربية وتأهيل الأحداث في الحد من جنوح الأحداث وتكون من إحدى عشر فقرة، وزعت على عينة الدراسة تم اختيارها بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، وبهذا تكونت من (55) حدث، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة نتائج أبرزها: أن هناك اتجاهات محايدة لدى الاحداث الجانحين نحو برامج الرعاية الاجتماعي، ووجود دور مرتفع لبرامج الرعاية الاجتماعية التي تقدمها دور تربية وتأهيل الاحداث في الحد من جنوح الأحداث. وأوصت الدراسة بتوصيات عديدة أبرزها: حث الأحداث على الاشتراك بدورات تدريبية تساعدهم في صقل مهاراتهم للمساهمة في زيادة شعورهم بالإنجاز ورفع تقديرهم لذواتهم. The study aims to figure out the attitudes of the juvenile delinquents towards social care programs and the role of the social care programs provided by the juvenile education and rehabilitation centers in reducing the delinquency. The study population consisted of all the (arrested and convicted) juvenile delinquents in the social care programs of the Ministry of Social Development in Irbid (n. 81). The researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of two fields: the first examined the attitudes of the juvenile delinquents towards the social care that consisted of 15 items and the second examined the role of the social care role provided by the juvenile education and rehabilitation centers in reducing the juvenile delinquency consisting of (11) items. The questionnaires were distributed to the members of the study sample who were selected through the simple random approach by (55) juveniles. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used. The study concluded that there are neutral attitudes among the juvenile delinquents towards the social care programs and a high role for the social care programs provided by the juvenile education and rehabilitation centers in reducing the juvenile delinquency. The study recommends motivating juveniles to participate in training workshops helping in developing their skills to increase their feelings of achievement and their self-satisfaction.
