هدف البحث إلى تنمية فهم الطلاب المعلمين للغة العلم والاتجاه نحو استخدام أنشطة لغة العلم في تدريس العلوم باستخدام البرنامج المقترح. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من 45 طالب وطالبة بالفرقة الرابعة شعبة علوم بيولوجية وجيولوجية وبيئية بكلية التربية جامعة أسيوط. واشتملت مواد البحث وأدواته على البرنامج المقترح، واختبار فهم لغة العلم، ومقياس الاتجاه نحو استخدام أنشطة لغة العلم في تدريس العلوم. وأظهرت نتائج البحث فاعلية البرنامج المقترح في تنمية فهم الطلاب المعلمين للغة العلم والاتجاه نحو استخدام أنشطة لغة العلم في تدريس العلوم، كما أظهرت نتائج البحث وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى (0.05) بين درجات مجموعة البحث فى التطبيق البعدي لاختبار فهم لغة العلم ومقياس الاتجاه نحو استخدام أنشطة لغة العلم في تدريس العلوم. This research aimed at developing student-teachers’ comprehension of science language and their attitude towards using science language activities in teaching science through the application of a suggested program. The subjects under investigation consisted in a group of forty-five student-teachers enrolled in fourth year biology, geology, and ecology sections, at Faculty of Education, Assiut University. Materials and tools of the research included: the suggested program, science language comprehension test, and a scale of attitude towards using science language activities in teaching science. Results of the research showed the effectiveness of the suggested program in developing the student-teachers’ comprehension of science language and their attitude towards using science language activities in teaching science. Results also indicated a significant positive correlation (at a level of 0.05) between the scores of the experimental group on the post comprehension test of the science language comprehension and their scores on the scale of the attitude towards using science language activities in teaching science.
