The cornet study aimed to evaluate Queen Rania Al Abdullah award for the outstanding principal in Jordan from educational leaders’ perspective. The descriptive developmental approach was used. The study population consists of the school principals in the Jordanian public schools totaling (3861) school principals and the educational supervisors in the Jordanian public schools totaling (962) educational supervisors. The sample of the study was chosen randomly to include all of the regions of the Hashemite Kingdom (northern- central- south region) where the total study sample (866) school principals and educational supervisors. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of Queen Rania Al Abdullah award for the outstanding principal in Jordan from educational leaders’ perspective was high. Furthermore, there are no significant differences in the scale of the effectiveness of Queen Rania Al Abdullah award for the outstanding principal in Jordan from educational leaders’ perspective according to the variables (gender, the academic qualification, the experience in the administrative work, and the nature of the work). While there are significant differences to the variable educational stage for the class (basic education stage). The results of the interview showed that the Queen Rania award helped motivating school principals to innovate, develop their abilities, and make efforts to develop the educational system. The researcher recommended that the Queen Rania award for excellence in education should adopt the proposed standard of innovation and introduce the proposed practices as being more comprehensive for the important competencies and skills required to achieve continuous development. Furthermore, the vision of the Queen Rania Al Abdullah award for the outstanding principal will include new standards and principles that will increase the quality of academic production by taking advantage of the leading international awards in the field of excellence which focus on improving organizational processes.
