This study in (applying the heritage text in teaching Arabic for non-native speakers) aims to reveal the role of heritage texts in Arabic for foreigners’ curriculums in teaching the language with its levels and four linguistic skills, in the light of: 1) determining the semantic level. 2) Showing the necessary standards to apply the heritage texts in the Arabic for foreigners’ curriculums. 3) The strategies that should be followed in teaching heritage texts. This study comes in an introduction and three chapters, as the introduction displays the problem of the study, its importance, the questions of it, and its goals. In addition to the research methodology and some prior studies. The first chapter includes applying the heritage texts in teaching the semantic level and the four linguistic skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening). The second chapter deals with the foundations of applying the heritage texts, and the most important strategies used in teaching the heritage texts in teaching Arabic for foreigners. The third chapter deals with the applicable side, by choosing some texts and applying them in teaching Arabic for foreigners. The study ends with the epilogue, which shows the importance of teaching the heritage texts for foreigner students; it being the main source for connecting with the Arabic language and its history and progress throughout the ages. In addition to it giving a concept of the Arabic civilization and the history of Arabs, and it being a tool to get to know the different aspects of Arabs’ lives. The study recommended that it is essential to teach the heritage texts for non-Arab students in the intermediate and advanced levels, and to select the topics needed for application in the different student levels, and to take care of choosing the texts that serve the causes and cover the topics needed to be covered.
