The present study aimed at providing a proposed program for training high school teachers in service in Jordan based on Greiner institutional growth model. In order to do that, the researcher aimed to identify the extent of compliance between the existent training programs targeting high school teachers in service and Greiner institutional growth model. She aimed to identify that from the perspectives of school principals and supervisors. She also aimed to identify the extent of need for implementing training programs that target high school teachers in service and are based on the foundations of Greiner institutional growth model. She aimed to identify that from the perspectives of school principals and supervisors. She aimed to identify how appropriate the proposed program is for training high school teachers in service based on Greiner institutional growth model from the perspective of experts and specialists. An analytical descriptive approach was adopted. A sixty-item questionnaire was developed. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were measured. The study’s sample consists of 216 individuals. They were selected from several schools that are affiliated with the (Jarash, Aqaba, and Al-Jam’a district directorates of education). The following results were concluded: 1) the extent of compliance between the existent training programs targeting high school teachers in service and Greiner’s institutional multistage growth model is moderate from the respondents’ perspective. 2) There is a moderate need for implementing training programs that target high school teachers in service and are based on the foundations of Greiner institutional growth mode in the following areas: (innovation, creativeness & addition, delegation, coordination & monitoring; cooperation, and alliances & partnerships). There is a high need for implementing training programs that target high school teachers in service and are based on the foundations of Greiner institutional growth mode in the following area: (growth through direction). 3) The researcher provided an appropriate proposed program for training high school teachers in service based on Greiner institutional growth model. She proposed the program based on the study’s results. The proposed program includes several goals. Such goals include: improving and increasing the teaching competencies and skills of teachers. That can be done through improving the performance of high schools in Jordan. It can be done through fostering the development stages of these schools based on Greiner institutional growth model. The researcher recommends implementing the proposed program for training high school teachers in service based on Greiner institutional growth model. She recommends implementing it by the decision makers in the ministry of education .she recommends implementing it in all its six areas: 1) innovation, creativeness, addition. 2) Delegation. 3) Coordination and monitoring. 4) Cooperation. 5) Guidance. 6) Alliances and partnerships). She recommends promoting awareness among the principals of high schools about the significance of developing teachers based on Greiner institutional growth model in the aim of improving and increasing their teaching competencies.
