هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة مستوى المهارات الاجتماعية لدى ‏التلاميذ ذوي صعوبات التعلم الأكاديمية مقارنة بالتلاميذ العاديين، تكونت ‏عينة الدراسة من (34) تلميذ وتلميذة من ذوي صعوبات التعلم، ولغرض ‏جمع البيانات استخدمت الباحثة صورة معدلة من مقياس المهارات ‏الاجتماعية للتلاميذ ذوي صعوبات التعلم الذي طوره هارون (2005). ‏وأشارت النتائج أن التلاميذ ذوي صعوبات التعلم اظهروا مستوى متوسط ‏من المهارات الاجتماعية مقارنة بالعاديين. وأشارت النتائج ايضا الى وجود ‏فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في مستوى المهارات الاجتماعية بين العاديين ‏وذوي صعوبات التعلم لصالح العاديين على الاداة بشكل عام وعلى ابعادها ‏الفرعية لصالح التلاميذ العاديين. The study aimed at investigating the level of social skills amongst students with and without learning disabilities LD; and whether it differs according to variables of gender; age or their interaction. For the purpose of data collection; the study employed a modified version of social skills scale for children with LD which was developed by Haroun (2005). The results of the study indicated a moderate level of social skills, with higher means for children without LD on the total scale and its dimensions. Additionally, female children without LD had the highest level of social skills amongst the participating children, particularly in the skills of appropriate work habits and following school rules.
