The study aimed at proposing a conception for the development of human capital management among Al-Azhar University faculty members to achieve the competitive ability from their point of view. The descriptive design was used. The study utilized two questionnaires (one for the human capital management and the other for the competitive ability). The participants were (113) faculty members enrolled at Al-Azhar University colleges, Tafahna Al-Ashraf. The study results revealed that there was a correlation between the human capital management and the competitive ability at the university. In addition, the study proposed a conception for the development of human capital management among Al-Azhar University faculty members to achieve the competitive ability. (Published abstract)
