إن الحديث عن تطبيقات الويب 2.0 في المكتبات الجامعية من القضايا الحديثة، بحيث أصبح الويب 2.0 اليوم حقيقة تفرض نفسها أكثر فأكثر في جميع المجالات، وعلى المكتبات التحول أيضا إلى هذه البيئة الجديدة وذلك بغرض تشكيل مجتمعات افتراضية لتمكين المستفيدين من العمل في بيئة تفاعلية وتشاركية، لذا نسعى من خلال هذا البحث إلى التعرّف على تطبيقات الويب 2.0 في المكتبة الجامعية ونظرا لطبيعة الموضوع فقد تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي مع دراسة حالة في الجانب الميداني، ومن أهم نتائج الدراسة إعطاء صورة واضحة حول استخدام أخصائي المعلومات تطبيقات الويب 2.0 لتطوير خدمات المكتبة، لخلق جوّ من الحوار والتفاعل والمشاركة الأكاديمية مع المستفيدين. Web 2.0 services are increasingly becoming embedded in many areas of life as more and more people recognize and harness these powerful communication tools. Similarly, libraries and librarians are using Web 2.0 technologies to promote services, share information and engage with users on a global scale. The aim of this research is to identify the Web 2.0 applications in a university library. An analytical descriptive method was used in the case study, the main result of the study is that information specialist through their uses of the Web 2.0 applications have basic ally allowed the library services to operate in an interactive, collaborative atmosphere driven by community needs.
