The aim of this research is to identify the effect of the use of reciprocal teaching strategy in developing academic achievement in the standardization subject for first-graders middle school students in the Najran region, as well as to identify the impact of the use of reciprocal teaching strategy on keeping the effect of education in the unification subject among first-grade students medium. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher used the experimental approach with a semi-experimental design based on the experimental group and the control group for the purpose of examining and testing the hypotheses, as well as to know the effect of the independent variable, and rely on the design of an achievement test as a main tool for collecting research data, and applied the research to a sample of (41) students. Among the most prominent results of this research are the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group that were studied using the strategy of reciprocal teaching and the mean of the scores of the control group that were studied in the traditional way in the immediate post-achievement, and the achievement was in favor of the experimental group. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group students in the two dimensions; post-current and post-future. In light of the results of the research, the research recommends focusing on the modern teaching strategy, including the reciprocal teaching strategy, which combines the role of the teacher and the learner rather than focusing on the traditional method. Emphasizing on the sharia sciences teachers in general and on the monotheism teachers in particular to use the reciprocal teaching strategy for preparing their lessons. (Published abstract)
