This study was conducted to identify the role of academic leaders at Jordan University in achieving their community responsibility, identifying suggestions activating the role. We used researcher the descriptive approach a survey, applied to determine. The role of a cadmic leaders in accomplishing community responsibility and the barriers that limit such role. The instrument was administered to (72) members of academic leaders in colleges university. The study includes the following: there is general agreement that the academic programs, and scientific research offered by colleges of Jordan University satisfy community responsibility goals through (4.29). And the goals through of study there are many difficulties that limit the achievement of goals for community responsibility role of academic leaders (4.27). The study concluded with suggestions activating the role academic leaders at Jordan University in accomplishing community responsibility, and its concepts in educational programs, the expansion of programs and activities geared to serve the community, strategic plans refection for community responsibility for colleges at university.
