This study aimed to identify the preparedness of public schools in the governorate of Onaiza and obstacles encountering the implementation of the creative school standards from leaders’ viewpoint. The research follows the descriptive method. The research population consists of all leaders of public schools in Onaizah governorate. The sample consists of (86) leaders. The researcher used the questionnaire. The results show a significant difference concerning the preparedness of public schools applying the standards of creative school on the administrative level with an average general approval of (4.13 out of 5) with an (often) index. As for the technological level, there is a significant statistical difference with an average general approval of (4.21 of 5) with an (always) index. There was also a discrepancy in the responses of the sample concerning the obstacles that may impede the public schools in Onaiza governorate from applying the creative school standards in terms of management of the school on the administrative and technological levels with an average general approval of (2.61 of 5) indicating (sometimes). There was no significance difference in the preparedness of public schools in Onaizah governorate for applying the standards of creative school due to (experience and educational stage).
