This study examines the technical knowledge and security awareness of female secondary students while using social networks. The study tackles this issue based on a study population of (63 332) female students from public schools and (2787) female students from Quran recitation centers in the city of Riyadh. The study follows random cluster sampling method. The population group was selected randomly from the southern and northern regions of the city of Riyadh. The random sample was 700 students from to ensure accuracy. The study recommends that students should use social networks only for the study recommends that it is the role of teacher, purpose of social networking.
