The research included four chapters, the first section contained the introduction to the research, its importance and its funding to teaching methods that guide the teacher about the goals, contents, methods, steps, and tools that help his success in teaching and raising pupils and the skill of correcting basketball from the skills of complex technical performance in the basketball game, which depends on factors and requirements for its success. This makes the interest in understanding the education strategy a great importance, as this stage is about achieving distinguished performance. As for the problem of searching for the performance of these skills, it is difficult during the researcher's experience of being a teacher of this subject, and her observation to teach this skill within schools, I noticed a fluctuation in the level of correction skill in basketball, and the aim of the research is to the effect of changing learning mastery according to the method of discovery directed on the kinetic performance of the correction skill in basketball and represents the research sample with stage students secondary and use the special tests not to extract the results and the researcher concluded that the adoption of changing mastery learning according to the method of directed discovery works to develop types of correction skill in basketball.
