The last years of the last century witnessed rapid developments in all fields, especially in the field of science and technology, and reflected on the educational and educational systems. And educational technology is currently more than the necessity to produce the benefits that it provides to the poles of the educational learning process. This study aimed at examining the contributions of educational technology to the educational process and ways of using it to achieve competencies for learners. The study concluded that the educational technology contributes an effective contribution to increasing the competencies of learners by employing this technology in learning as a result of the contributions it makes to the learner and the teacher alike as it changed teaching methods and achieved added value in educational processes.
