The stages of a child’s development are important in building his personality. The psychological, social and emotional developmental aspects are very important in a child’s life. In addition, the mental and language developments where learning the language is one of the important keys to knowledge, despite its importance for the child, there are factors that affect this stage, that is, learning the language and its acquisition, which are due to the components of the child's linguistic readiness, as the intelligence, which is an important factor in the development of the linguistic ability. This study aimed to identify the relationship between intelligence and the language acquisition process among a child in the preparatory stage using two tools: the language acquisition questionnaire and the intelligence test on five cases in the preparatory stages.
