The present research aims at identifying the effect of the cognitive modeling strategy to the third intermediate grade students in physics. The research sample consists of two experimental groups, which are studied according to the cognitive modeling strategy. While the control group studied according to the normal method. The number of students (82) who enrolled in Al-Nomaanya intermediate school for boys in Mosul during the academic year (2018-2019) distributed by (43) students for the experimental group and (39) students of the control group. The two researchers to carry out instruments was the achievement test in physics. Which consists of (30) items. , Vic. T-test. Consequently, the obtained results show, the existence of a statistically significant difference concerning the development of the achievement in physics between the experimental group and control group for the sake of the experimental group. The obtained findings obtained, suggestion: The effectiveness of the strategies of cognitive modeling strategy on the achievement second intermediate grade students at Teachers Institute in physics. Also, the researchers recommended to adopt these cognitive modeling strategy in teaching physics, and suggest a number of future research in this field. (Published abstract)
