تعاني الجامعة الجزائرية من عدة مشاكل مادية وتنظيمية، بما في ذلك نقص وسائل الاتصال الحديثة وعدم تحكم جلّ أساتذة الآداب والعلوم الاجتماعية والإنسانية في استعمالها. ومن أجل التعرّف عن مدى توفر تكنولوجيات التعليم والتحكم في استعمالها، تم القيام بدراسة ميدانية على عينة من أساتذة كلية العلوم الاجتماعية بجامعة وهران. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج تتمثل في: غياب الشروط الضرورية لاستعمال تكنولوجيا التعليم - تغلب الطرق الإلقائية في التدريس بكليات العلوم الاجتماعية - عجز في توفير الأجهزة التعليمية الحديثة - معاناة جلّ أساتذة العلوم الاجتماعية من عدم تحكمهم في استعمال تكنولوجيا التعليم - استعمال غالبية الأساتذة لشبكة الإنترنت والبريد الإلكتروني - عجز كثير من الأساتذة عن استعمال معالج النصوص وتحليل المعطيات الإحصائية. أوصت الدراسة بناءا على النتائج بضرورة توفير تكنولوجيا التعليم، وتهيئة ظروف استعمالها، واعتماد أساليب التدريب المسمر بتلبية حاجات الأساتذة من مهارات التدريس والبحث. The Algerian University suffers from several physical and organizational problems, including a lack of modern means of communication and the lack of control over the use of teaching technology most lecturers of arts, social sciences and humanities. In order to identify the availability of education technologies and control their use, a field study was carried out on a sample of lecturers from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Oran 2 University. The reached results are: 1) Lack of necessary conditions for the use of education technology. 2) Overuse of traditional teaching methods. 3) The lack of modern educational tools. 4) Most social science lecturers suffer from their lack of control over the use of education technology. 5) Most lecturers use the Internet and e-mail. 6) Many teachers are unable to use the word processor and data analysis. The study concluded that education technology should be provided, as well as the conditions for its use. Appropriate trainings should be provided for lecturers to meet their needs for modern education technology. (Published abstract)
