تعتبر زراعة القوقعة تقنية فعالة في إنعاش القدرة السمعية للمصابين بصمم عميق وشديد، كما تساعد على اكتساب اللغة. يستخدم الأولياء و المختصون أثناء التواصل مع الأطفال حاملي زراعة القوقعة أساليب مختلفة للتواصل، تجعل من نتائج الأطفال تتباين في نموهم اللغوي. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في مدى تأثير طريقة التواصل على اكتساب المفردات النشطة والخاملة لدى عينة من 30 طفلا حاملا لزراعة القوقعة تراوحت أعمارهم بين 3 سنوات و 8 أشهر إلى 8 سنوات. استخدمنا في الدراسة اختبار المفردات النشطة والخاملة TVAPDeltour&Hupkens بعد تكييفه و تقنينه. توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة بين الأطفال الذين استفادوا من زراعة القوقعة في سن مبكرة. Cochlear implantation is an effective technique in the recovery of hearing ability in children with acute and deep deafness, and helps to acquire language. Parents and specialists in contact with children with cochlear implants use different methods of communication, making the results of children vary in their language development. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the method of communication on the acquisition of passive and active vocabulary in a sample of 30 children with cochlear implant, ranging in age from 3 years ,8 months to 8 years. We used in the study the test of passive and active vocabulary (TVAP created by Deltour&Hupkens) after adaptation and regulation. This study found that there were significant differences between children who benefited from cochlear implant at an early age. (Published abstract)
