سعي هذا البحث إلى بيان مفهوم الأمن وأهميته وأنواعه، والفرق بين المسئوليات والواجبات والمهام، والبعد التشريعي في المسئولية، وبيان المسئولية الأمنية للمعلم الجامعي المصري ومبررات تفعيلها ومجالاتها، وخبرات بعض الدول في هذا المجال، ووضع مقترحات لتفعيلها لديه في مصر. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي. وتوصل إلى وجود عدة مبررات تستدعي تفعيل المسئولية الأمنية للمعلم الجامعي المصري، منها: الأحداث السياسية المعاصرة، والتغير الاجتماعي والثقافي المتسارع، وتزايد الأخطار السلبية للإنترنت، ونسب الجريمة، وتنامي العنف والإرهاب وتعاطي المخدرات، وضعف الروابط الاجتماعية والأسرية. وانتهي البحث بتقديم مقترحات لتفعيل المسئولية الأمنية للمعلم الجامعي المصري في ضوء خبرات بعض الدول. The research has aimed at shedding light on, the concept of security, its significance and forms, the definition of the security responsibility of Egyptian University educator, its Justifications, Fields and the Suggestions of its activation. To achieve these aims, the research used the descriptive method. The research has come down that there are several justifications which require activating the security responsibility of Egyptian university educator such as the recent Political events, the rapid cultural and social change, the increased negative dangers of the internet, the increased proportions of crime, the spread of violence and terrorism, drugs addiction, the weak family and social relations.
