هدف البحث تعرف مستوى توافر المهارات الإدارية لدى المشرفين الأكاديميين بعمادة السنة الأولى المشتركة بجامعة الملك، وذلك من وجهة نظرهم ووجهة نظر المدربين، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، واعتمدت على الاستبانة في جمع البيانات، وطبقت على عينة مكونة من (30) مشرفًا أكاديميًّا و(67) مدربًا وتوصلت إلى النتائج التالية: أن درجة توافر محور المهارات الإدارية الإنسانية من وجهة نظر المشرفين مرتفعة؛ إذ جاءت قيمة المتوسط أعلى من المتوسط المعياري، أن درجة توافر محور المهارات الإدارية الإنسانية من وجهة نظر المدربين مرتفعة؛ إذ جاءت قيمة المتوسط أعلى من المتوسط المعياري، إن أبرز المهارات الإدارية للمشرفين الأكاديميين التي تحتاج إلى تنميتها من وجهة نظرهم، ومن وجهة نظر المدربين هي المهارات المتعلقة بالعبارات التي جاءت قيم المتوسطات الحسابية لها أقل من قيمة المتوسط الفرضي (4.1)، وهي: "أجري اتصالات مستمرة مع جميع الأطراف بالعمادة، يسعى لحل الخلافات التي تقع بين المدربين، يسعى لإقناع المدربين بنتائج التقييم، يستمع وينصت للمدربين عند المناقشة، يتقبل انتقادات المدربين بصدر رحب، يعالج شكاوى المدربين، يُدير عمليات التغيير التي يتطلبها العمل، يضع الأهداف التشغيلية للعمل، يفوض الصلاحيات لبعض المدربين، يعمل على اتخاذ القرارات بطريقة منهجية، يضع الخطط الاستراتيجية في ضوء الاحتياجات المستقبلية للعمادة، يُبدع ويبتكر في مجال عمله، يتابع التطورات الإشرافية لتطوير العمل". The current research aimed to know the level of availability of administrative skills for academic supervisors in the joint first year deanship of King’s University from their points of view and the viewpoints of the trainers. The study made use of the descriptive method and utilized a questionnaire for collecting the study data. The study was administered to a sample consisting of (30) academic supervisors and (67) Trainers. The results of the study revealed that the degree of availability of the dimensions of human administrative skills from the viewpoints of supervisors is high as the average value was higher than the normative mean. The degree of availability of the dimension of human administrative skills from the points of view of trainers is high as the mean value came higher than the level of the standard mean. The most prominent administrative skills for academic supervisors that need to be developed from their points of view and from the viewpoints of the trainers are the skills related to the items for which the values of the arithmetic means have less than the value of the hypothetical mean (4.1), namely “I have frequent contacts with all parties in the Deanship; I seeks to resolve the differences that occur between the trainers, I seek to persuade the trainers of the evaluation results, I listen to the trainers during discussions, I accept the trainers’ criticisms with wide openness; I address the complaints of the trainers; I manage the change required by the work; I set the operational goals of the work; I delegate authority  to some trainers; I work on making decisions in a systematic way; I put strategic plans in the light of the future needs of the Deanship; I create and innovate in my field of work; I monitor supervisory developments in the work.
