The research aims to introduce the electronic book as one of the important electronic information sources, used in Universities libraries and information centres. Also sheds light on the most prominent features, importance in university education, Forms design and reader devices. Also it aims to introduce the actual usage by the teaching staff members in the institute of management, Al-Rusafa to support the educational process, and to discover the main usage motive and to identify problems and obstacles that hinder its optimal usage. The research depends on the survey methodology considered as the most suitable curricula to the research subject. The information have been collected through a questionnaire given to the teaching staff who are representing the research main community to talking (65) teaching members. The main findings reached by the research are: 1) The most important reasons for the use of e-book amounted to (92%) which fit on multimedia such as (fees of animated, images, video clips and sound effects). The lowest percentage amounted (71%) for its potential to control and adjust the electronic text. 2) The research has shown that the benefit from the possibility of browsing for some books during the lecture giving it thrill element and away from conservation and indoctrination routine, this form a higher percentage amounted (89%). 3) The important motive for use the e-books, percentage amounted (92%) and that for the shortened time and effort in searching for information. The most important recommendations are: 1) The need for a good digital infrastructure in the library through extension internal networks and the possibility of external communication devices necessary for computer operating systems. 2) The need to provide the institute library with e-books to suit the needs of faculty members and their scientific specialties that are available on disks or downloaded via the internet.
