Aims current search to identify the impact of the use of short reports in the collection of students first grade average in the material history of ancient Iraq and for the investigation of that chose researcher secondary Alazdhar of the Directorate of Education in Diyala, which contains two divisions of the first row average if the number of students of the two groups (48) student, examined the experimental group using short reports and the control group in the usual manner as in the teaching of history. Rewarded researcher among students groups statistically intelligence and chronological age and after the end of the experiment researcher prepared achievement test type of test-page 30, paragraph objective to measure the historical information and the researcher used the test remote (test - t) for the two samples independent at the level (0.05) and the results showed outweigh the experimental group on the control group students then recommended a researcher.
