Meaning in life is considered to be one of the important subjects in life. The psychological exile has taken a great importance among the phenomena, that the Iraqi society dealt with, for its widespread. The sample of the study is the orphan intermediate school students for the years (2015-2016) in the province of Diyala. They are 200 male and female students. The recent study aims at: 1) indicating the level of meaning in life for the orphan students. 2) Indicating the level of meaning in life according to the type (males and females) 3) Indicating the level of the psychological exile for the orphans. 4) Indicating the level of meaning in the life according to the type (males and females). 5) Indicating if there is a relation between meaning in life and the psychological exile. After analyzing the data statistically, the following results are reached: 1) the sample of the study has a meaning in life. 2) There are no statistical differences in the meaning in life according to the type. 3) The sample of the study has no psychological exile. 4) There are no statistical differences in the psychological exile according to the type; males and females. At the end of the study, the researcher presented a number of suggestions and recommendations. (Published abstract)
