The aim of the current study was to identify the problems faced by third year students at the faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University, at Islamic Education subjet form their points of view and make the necessary recommendation to overcome them. The study used the analytical descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of 300 form the students third year the faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University, from the academic year2015- 2016. The study used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information and data, and the statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS program. The study found that the most prominent problems faced by students were the weakness of the subject in developing students tendencies and trends, the students dependence on one source of information, the traditional methods of teaching and evaluation, and poor attention payed to modern teaching methods. The findings also revealed the impact of the division variable on the problems faced by students at Islamic education form their points of view. For the methods and questionnaire as a whole, the impact was in favor of the History division, for the field of objectives and teaching staff the impact was also in favor of the History division, whereas the impact was in favor of the two divisions of French and Islamic studies for the field of students. There were no significant differeneces between other divisions. (Published abstract)
