This research investigates the effect of Using Authentic homeworks to develop tenth grade physics students' attitude toward Self-Learning. In order to achieve this the researchers tried to answer the following question: What is the effect of Using Authentic home works on developing tenth grade physics students' attitude toward Self Learning? To answer the research question, and to test its assumptions, the semi-experimental methodology was used. A teacher guide, and six authentic homeworks were created. In addition, designing self-evaluation cards for each assignment. Moreover, using ready-made tool, comprised in Guglielmino scale for measuring attitude towards self-learning. Result indicated the following: There are significant differences at the level of statistical significance α ≤ 0.05 between the mean scores of posttest measurement with the students in the experimental group and the control group in the scale of the attitude towards self-learning in favor of the experimental group. In light of these result, a number of recommendations were made. (Published abstract)
