The sense of despair a common mental disorders, which are often not heeded by the people, nor responsible for the delivery of health care, even though it is detrimental to the hundreds of millions of people, and is linked to the feeling of hopelessness anxiety, depression and inability to compatibility and the resulting feelings of helplessness about controlling the environment and low the degree of stress, and does not come despair by surprise, but it comes through a process of accumulation, and the more varied these accumulations whenever become human can underneath and cannot afford, and the result is the explosion of behavioral downside of all kinds, and a sense of hopelessness, like a lot of mental disorders, which disclose the same number of symptoms and causes, particularly what happens in childhood has pointed psychologists that ill feeling adolescent insecurity and ambivalence and develop those feelings of helplessness in the face of the difficulties of life and familiarity to suppress their emotions and to blame themselves, and when they grow up life struggles new old conflicts they appear neuroticism and despair. Current research aims to identify the impact of a pilot program to reduce the feeling of hopelessness among junior high school students through the test the following hypotheses: 1) no statistically significant differences at the level (0,05) with the control group in the pretest and posttest to gauge the feeling of hopelessness. 2) There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0,05) with the experimental group in the pretest and posttest. 3) There are no statistically significant differences at the level ( 0,05 ) with the control group and the experimental group in the post test. Current search is determined by students in the preparatory stage preparatory and secondary schools under the directorate general of educational Diyala province / Baladruz / morning study for the academic year (2013-2014). To achieve the goal of research and testing hypotheses used experimental method the design (experimental group and a control group with pretest after me) sample consisted of 20 students from the preparatory stage distributors randomly divided into two groups (experimental group) and (control group), and by (10) students in each group, were conducted parity of the two groups in some of the variables, namely, (students' grades on a scale sense of despair, and academic achievement for the father, and the educational attainment of the mother, and intelligence, and chronological age measured in months, and the economic level). The researcher adopting a measure of despair prepared by (Beck & Steer, 1974) for the preparatory phase were presented to a group of experts in education and psychology who emphasized by (100%) on the validity of the scale of the application and thus achieves virtual honesty, and stability VTM find it in two ways retailers are reaching the mid-term (0,84), and has reached Alfa Cronbach (0,81). As well as the researcher applying mentoring program prepared for the purpose of reducing the sense of despair, was checking the veracity of the program by honesty virtual, through the presentation to a group of experts in guidance and counseling, and may be indicative program (14) hearing guidance and by two in a week time per session (45) minutes search and requests the use of statistical methods as follows: (Pearson correlation coefficient, and spearman brown equation, the discriminatory power of the vertebrae, Mann Whitney test, test and Caucasians, and the weighted average weight percentile, t-test). Results showed the following: 1) no statistically significant differences at the level (0,05) in the control group in the pretest and posttest. 2) Presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0,05) in the experimental group before and after the program. 3) Presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0,05) between the experimental and control groups in the post-test and in favor of the experimental group.
