The present study aims to identify the status of educational research and its importance, also identify the contributions of educational research in improving educational performance in educational institutions. And to identify the most important standards of quality of educational research in addition to the disclosure of some of the obstacles that prevent the achievement of educational research quality standards. And a proposed scenario for the development of scientific research in the field of education in light of its quality standards. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used the descriptive (analytical) method, including the aspects of description and interpretation. The study reached a number of results, including: the absence of the national research map, which led to the researchers, in addition to the weak link of educational research to the cultural and social reality of Egyptians. Poor budget and financial support for educational research. And the lack of standards governing the quality of educational research. The study ended with a proposed scenario that included a set of measures that can be taken through the development of educational research and overcoming the obstacles that prevent the maximum benefit from its quality. The suggested scenario included future directions of research, researcher specifications and skills, Educational, and the search for alternative ways to finance educational research and spending on it.
