هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد العلاقة بين كل من عادات الام الغذائية، والصراعات الأسرية، والتأثير الإعلامي في وجود اضطرابات الأكل لدى المراهقين في الأردن. كما وهدفت إلى معرفة الفروق بين الذكور والإناث، والمدارس الحكومية والخاصة والمختلطة، وأقاليم الأردن الثلاثة في وجود اضطرابات الأكل. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (1091) طالب وطالبة تتراوح أعمارهم (14-17) سنة،منهم (531) ذكر و(560) أنثى من طلبة المدارس الحكومية والخاصة والمختلطة في أقاليم الأردن الثلاثة. وقد طبق مقياس اتجاهات الأكل، ومقياس عادات الام الغذائية، ومقياس الصراعات الأسرية، ومقياس التأثير الإعلامي على أفراد عينة الدراسة. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وتم استخدام تحليل التباين الأحادي، واستخراج معامل ارتباط بيرسون للإجابة عن فرضيات الدراسة. وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة دالة إحصائيا بين عادات الأم الغذائية، والصراعات الأسرية، والتأثير الإعلامي في وجود اضطرابات الأكل. بالإضافة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في وجود اضطرابات الأكل بحيث تسجل الإناث درجات أعلى، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المدارس الحكومية، والخاصة، والمختلطة في وجود اضطرابات الأكل بحيث يسجل طلبة المدارس المختلطة درجات أعلى، كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين إقليم الشمال، وإقليم الوسط، وإقليم الجنوب في وجود اضطرابات الأكل بحيث يسجل طلبة إقليم الجنوب درجات أعلى. وتوصي الدراسة بإجراء المزيد من البحوث المستقبلية حول اضطرابات الأكل، وبحوث تضم عينتها طلبة من مدارس وكالة الغوث الدولية. وإجراء بحوث تتعلق بأساليب الوقاية والعلاج النفسي لهذه الاضطرابات. كما وتوصي المؤسسات النفسية بزيادة بالاهتمام باضطرابات الأكل عند المراهقين، والقيام بدمج الأسر في البرامج العلاجية الموجهة لهم. بالإضافة إلى قيام المؤسسات الإعلامية بإجراء تحليل للرسائل التي تبثها الوسائل الإعلامية من الناحية النفسية. The present study aimed to examine the relationship between each of mother's eating habits, family conflicts and the mass media influence in the presence of eating disorders among adolescents in Jordan. It aimed also to know the differences between males and females, state, private and mixed schools and the three districts of Jordan in the presence of eating disorders. The study sample consisted of (1091) students aged (14-17 years), of whom (531) male and (560) female students from state, private and mixed schools in the three districts. The following measures had been applied to the study sample members: eating attitudes test, mother’s eating habits test, family conflict test and mass media effect. And the study used one way-ANOVA and Pearson correlation to answer the hypotheses of the study. The results indicated that there is a statistically significant between mother's eating habits, family conflicts and mass media effect a in the presence of eating disorders. In addition, there are significant differences between males and females in the presence of eating disorders in favor of females, and the presence of statistically significant differences between state, private and mixed schools in the presence of eating disorders in favor of mixed schools, the study also showed the presence of statistically significant differences between the north, middle and south districts in the presence of eating disorders for the middle district. The study recommends further research in the future of eating disorders, and research involving students from united nations relief and works agency (UNRWA) schools. It also recommends an increase of interest in psychiatric institutions with eating disorders among adolescents, and to integrate families in treatment programs targeted to them.
