The research aims to defining effectiveness of Wheatley strategy in achievement of physics and the development of achievement motivation students in second grade average, the research sample consisted of two groups, one experimental and one control group and each consists of (28) students, the researcher used two tools to test achievement of physics and a questionnaire for the measurement of achievement motivation among students. Results of study indicated the existence of a statistically significant difference in experimental of achievement motivation. In light of this, the researcher recommends adopt Wheatley strategy in teaching physics in the second year students moving average for its role in the development of achievement motivation and achievement among students.
