With the universities interest to support and build their social responsibility, which has become a developmental input for them based on the idea of economic and social integration, these universities must adopt building their community responsibility according to an international recognized standards that have principles and objectives, and that is what the International Standard ISO 26000 contains, a community liability standard, issued by the ISO, in 2010. The current research targeted: Identifying the concept of international standard ISO 26000 and the reasons of paying attention to it in Saudi universities and its important stages and introducing the social responsibility in accordance with this standard and its clarity to do its part in supporting and building the social responsibility of Saudi universities. The key findings of the current research: the international standard ISO 26000 has a role in supporting and building the Saudi universities social responsibility especially among the members of the faculties of Taibah University (sample of the study) who believed in the importance of social responsibility of the university in light of the international standard ISO 26000 despite the lack of their full knowledge of its concept and provisions.
