Leadership is a social phenomenon, which represents the top of human ingenuity in management field. Therefore, the aesthetic leadership will add a new dimension in the administrative and educational literature, as it's concerned with the ability to influence the behavior of group members, coordinate their efforts, and directing them to attain the desired objectives through aesthetic culture. The aesthetic leadership dimensions are (aesthetic communication aesthetic approach aesthetic support aesthetic applications aesthetic sensitivity aesthetic honesty and aesthetic appearance). On the other hand, the Egyptian universities have shortcomings in the educational availability and weakness in internationalization. Therefore, the current study aimed to develop the university functions: (learning, research and community service) in the light of the dimensions of the aesthetic leadership. The study used descriptive method where the researchers built a questionnaire of (97) items reflects (existence – importance) of the application of aesthetic leadership in Egyptian universities functions, the tool of study was applied to (812) random sample of universities staff. The field study showed a low percentage of aesthetic leadership dimensions (42.8%) , while the importance of these dimensions was (86.9%) which is high , that indicates the need to move towards the application of aesthetic leadership in Egyptian universities , while the less function in availability and most important was the scientific research (41.2% 86.9 %) respectively and the less dimension in availability was the aesthetic approach (39.52%) while the most important was aesthetic communication (93.1%) Using ANOVA and t tests , there were differences in (availability - importance) of the dimensions of aesthetic leadership due to (the university environment - Scientific Degree – college type - Ph.D. country - Educational qualification - gender). The study provided a suggested paradigm based on the creation of new organizational changes in the universities organizational structure represented in three deanships in each university.
