The current research aims to putting hand on the effect of using the 6 Thinking Hats Strategy (STHS) in promoting the skills of scientific thinking and verbal communication upon the student teachers at Home Economic Department (Educational Division) – Faculty of Home Economics in Azhar University. Sample of study consisted of 26 students. Those students have studied the curriculum of Social Psychology by using the STHS. Research tolls embodied in measuring the skills of scientific thinking and verbal communication. The research results indicated that: There are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements applied on the measurement of scientific thinking for the sake of post application. There are statistically significant differences between the pre and post measurements applied on the measurement of verbal communication skills for the sake of post application. There is an associative relationship with statistically significant between skills of both scientific thinking and verbal communication. (Published abstract)
