This study aims to identify refrainment from marriage among the Orthodox Youth in Ramallah District. The study population is composed of a sample comprised of (152) Christian male and female youth that was selected according on the ‘stratified simple random’ method. A questionnaire comprised of (32) paragraphs, covering the various aspects of the study was used for this purpose after it was verified using relevant educational and statistical methods. The study showed that the average of the overall level of refrainment from marriage was very high (3.48). The study also showed statistical that there were no any statistically significant differences in the study variables, which are sex, career, and age; while it showed differences signifying refrainment from marriage that were ascribed to the ‘educational level’ variable. The differences were to the advantage of the level below secondary (education). (Published abstract)
