This study investigates the relationship between assessment methods and the provided feedback (Oral and Written). The data have been collected from (714) undergraduate students from four public universities in Jordan using 16 rating scale items (Strongly agree to strongly disagree). Findings show that using different assessment methods results much more oral and written feedback. That is; professors who use different assessment methods to assess their students learning outcomes provide their students with more oral and written feedback. Also, the results show that the relationship between using different assessment methods and the level of the provided oral and written feedback is the same in both humanity and scientific colleges. Based on these results, the study recommends that higher education institutes should encourage professors to use different assessment methods, and to use different types of feedback.
