هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تقويم كتاب العلوم المطور للصف الرابع الابتدائي في المملكة العربية السعودية من وجهة نظر معلمي ومعلمات العلوم الذين قاموا بتدريس الكتاب وذلك لمتغيرات: الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، الخبرة التدريسية. حيث تكونت عينة الدراسة من (50) معلما و (50) معلمة .واستخدم الباحث استبانة مكونة من المجالات المحددة للدراسة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى تقدير المعلمين والمعلمات لكتاب العلوم كان مرتفعا بشكل عام حيث بلغت المتوسط الحسابي للتقدير الكلي للكتاب وعلى المجالات مجتمعة (3.74) . كذلك أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى تقدير المعلمين لمجالات الكتاب المختلفة كانت : الإخراج الفني للكتـاب (3.91)، المحتوى العلمي للكتاب (3.76) ، الأهداف ( 3.74), الوسائل والأنشطة الموجودة في الكتاب (3.70)،  وسائل التقويم المتضمنة في الكتاب (3.69)، ملاءمة عـــدد الحصص للمحتـوى ( 3.59 )،  مناسبة لغة الكتاب (3.58). كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائيـــة عند مستوى الدلالــة ( a =0.05 ) تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، سنوات الخبرة، على مستوى تقدير المعلمين والمعلمات لكتاب العلوم الذي قاموا بتدريسه ماعدا المؤهل العلمي وجاءت لصالح الذين يحملون مؤهل تربوي. (الملخص المنشور)

This study aimed at evaluating the science book developer for fourth grade in primary Kingdom Saudi Arabia from the point of view of teachers who teach science book. And variables: sex, qualification, teaching experience. Where sample. Study (50) teachers and (50) parameter. Researcher used a questionnaire composed of fields Of the study. The results showed that the level of appreciation of teachers for science book was high In general, reaching the arithmetic mean of the total estimate of the book and on the combined areas (3.74). The results also showed that the level of teacher appreciation to the different areas of the book was: Art direction of the book (3.91), the scientific content of the book (3.76), goals (3.74), Means and activities in the book (3.70), and the means calendar included in the book (3.69), the appropriate number of shares of content (3.59), appropriate language book (3.58). The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (∞ = 0.05) depending on the variables of sex, educational qualification, years of experience, the level of appreciation Teachers for science book that they have taught except Qualification and came For the benefit of those who have educational qualification.
