تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى السلوك البيئي المسئول لدى الشباب الجامعي في مدينة شرورة، ومعرفة الفروق في مستوى السلوك البيئي المسئول لدى الشباب الجامعي، وفقاً لمتغير التخصص والجنس. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (188) طالباً وطالبة بنسبة تمثل (%10) من إجمالي مجتمع الدراسة (طلبة كلية العلوم والآداب بشرورة- جامعة نجران) المسجلين في الفصل الدراسي الأول للعام الدراسي الجامعي (2018-2019م)، واستخدمت الدراسة أداة لقياس السلوك البيئي المسئول المكوّن من (25) موقفاً، موزعة على ثلاثة محاور: (الإهتمام بالبيئة والالتزام بالقوانين، وحماية البيئة من التلوث، وترشيد استهلاك الموارد). وبعد أن تم التحقق من صدق وثبات أداة قياس السلوك البيئي المسئول، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة توفر مستوى مرتفع لممارسة السلوك البيئي المسئول لدى عينة الدراسة، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغيري الجنس والتخصص. The present study aims to identify the level of responsible environmental behavior among university youth in Sharorah City and the extent of difference in the level of environmental behavior responsible for university youth, according to the variables of specialization and sex. The study used descriptive analytical method, and a sample of a study of (188) male and female students representing 10% of the total study population (students in the Faculty of Science and Arts in Sharorah-Najran University) registered in the First semester of the academic year (2018-2019). The study used the responsible environmental behavior scale consisting of (25) environmental attitudes as a tool of study, in three axes:(concern for the environment and compliance with laws, protect the environment from pollution, and rationalization of resources). After verifying the validity and reliability of the Responsible Environmental Behavior Scale, the results of the study showed the availability of high-level of responsible environmental behavior for the study sample, and the absence of statistically significant differences due to sex and specialization.
