The research aimed to develop a proposal comprehensive program for the care of gifted students at the University of Tabuk in the light of some local and international expertise, as well as those students’ needs. To achieve this overall objective, the research tried to achieve the following sub-objectives: to detect the size of University of Tabuk’s talented students, disclosure their needs and monitoring some local and international experiences in the field of the care of gifted students. To achieve the objectives of the research the descriptive approach was used, the research community consisted of all students in the University of Tabuk. A set of research tools were used, namely: Raven Progressive Matrices Test, Torrance Creative Thinking Test, a scale of the gifted students’ needs, an initial data form for the student to nominate him/herself as a gifted, and a data form for faculty staff to nominate the student as a gifted. The appropriate statistical methods for data processing were used. The most important results are: a) gifted students educational needs came first in terms of need severity, b) the need to master a foreign language was at the top of educational needs, and c) the personal and social needs came in the second and the third position respectively. A suggested program for the care of gifted students, in the light of their needs, was developed. (Published abstract)
