الكشف عن أساليب القيادة والمواءمة لدى العمداء ورؤساء الأقسام في ثلاث من مؤسسات التعليم العالي في الأردن. تكونت العينة من 21 عميد كلية و76 رئيس قسم أكاديمي. وتم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية وتحليل التباين للمتغيرات المتعددة وتحليلي التباين أحادي الاتجاه في تحليل البيانات. وأسفرت النتائج عن أن العمداء ورؤساء الأقسام اختاروا الأسلوب القيادي "البيع" بصفة رئيسة، والأسلوب القيادي "المشاركة" بصفة ثانوية. أما مدى المواءمة فقد كان ضمن المدى المتوسط لكل من العمداء ورؤساء الأقسام.
