This study focuses on the critical success factors (CSF), which ensures the success of applying social networking tools in libraries and educational and research institutions. In particular, the study reaches to those factors through analyzing previous studies. The study has two main objectives: the identification of critical success factors (CSF) for the use of social networks within libraries and educational institutions and research according to specialized studies. And the provision of a list of critical success factors (CSF) for the use of social networks within libraries and educational and research institutions certified by experts in the field. The study has used systematic content analysis and Delphi methodologies to achieve its objectives. The study concluded with a critical success factor for social networking applications in libraries, information, research and educational institutions. (Published abstract)
