هدفت هذه الدّراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعليّة وحدة دراسيّة مقترحة في العمل التطوعي في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد، والاتّجاه نحو المواطنة المسؤولة لدى طالبات الصفّ الثامن في سلطنة عمان وقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج الشبه التجريبي لتحقيق أهدافها، شملت عيّنة الدّراسة (20) طالبة من طالبات الصّف الثّامن الأساسي بمدرسة الصّدّيقة بنت الصّدّيق للتّعليم الأساسي، وقد استخدمت أداتين لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تمثّلت في اختبار للتّفكير النّاقد مكوّن من (25) سؤالاً ومقياساً للاتّجاه نحو المواطنة المسؤولة تكون من (20) عبارة في ثلاثة أبعاد وقد تمّ تطبيق هذه الأدوات قبل وبعد دراسة الوحدة الدّراسية المقترحة، وقد تحقّق الباحثان من صدق هذه الأدوات من خلال عرضها على مجموعة من المحكّمين المختصّين، ومن ثباتها من خلال معامل ألفا كرو نباخ حيث بلغ (0.701) لاختبار التفكير الناقد و(0.937) لمقياس الاتجاه نحو المواطنة المسؤولة، وقد توصّلت الدّراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α≥0.05) لاختبار التفكير الناقد، ومقياس الاتجاه نحو المواطنة المسؤولة بين متوسطات المجموعة التجريبية في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي لصالح التطبيق البعدي؛ ممّا يؤكّد فاعليّة الوحدة الدّراسيّة المقترحة في تنمية مهارات التّفكير النّاقد والاتّجاه نحو المواطنة المسؤولة. The aim of the present study is to examine the effectiveness of a proposed unite in voluntary work in enhancing critical thinking skills and the attitudes towards responsible citizenship among eighth grade female students in the Sultanate of Oman. In order to collect the study data, the researchers employed a quasi-experimental research design with twenty female students from Al-Sideeqah Bint Al-Sideeq for basic education school. The research data were collected via a critical thinking test that consisted of twenty-five items and a scale of twenty items under three different dimensions, which aimed to measure students' attitudes towards responsible citizenship. The researchers implemented these two instruments as pre- and post the experiment of implementing the proposed unite. Regarding the validity, the researchers checked it via consulting a number of experts. The reliability was obtained by running the Cronbach alpha statistical test, and the result was, (0.701) for the critical thinking test and (0.937) for the responsible citizenship scale. The findings of the study indicated statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) across the two tests means in favor for the post-tests. Subsequently, there was an effectiveness of the proposed unite in improving students' critical thinking and in enhancing their attitudes towards responsible citizenship. (Published abstract)
